Get valid months/years for DatePicker

Working on a custom DatePicker component, that has a select for the Months and then one for the Years when the calendar is open.

I've based my approach on the example from the docs - https://codesandbox.io/p/sandbox/affectionate-rosalind-tdm323?file=%2Fsrc%2FCalendar.js but cannot figure out a way to validate which months/years are valid options based on the minValue and maxValue.

Is there anyway to extract the available months/years from the datepicker state? Or handle this differently

I was able to resolve this in the end using the calendar state and getting the month / year from the minValue / maxValue properties of the state
