Produce RPM binaries

It would be great is AdoptOpenJDK could also ship RPM binaries just as Oracle currently do for their JDK. Redhat-based distributions are very common deployment platforms and this would ease the transition for people used to getting their JDK RPMs directly form Oracle.

We have some initial support for both debs and rpms although it's not finalised yet. @gdams can you comment on the current status (and perhaps hand it over to me? ;-) )

Hi @keirlawson, we currently produce our installers using Bitrock InstallBuilder which has the capabilities to generate RPM's. Check out https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-installer

Knock on wood we'll finally start on this next week. We'll have resolved the 8u202 and 11.0.2 builds by that stage (I hope!).

Not yet no, we have MSI and Maca OS X installers pretty much sorted, more coming soon.
