Pre-release EviAnn v1.0.8

This release removes the requirement of supplying all input files with absolute paths. The protein to genome aligner eviprot.sh speed is increased by about 15%, and accuracy is increased by about 5%. Cleanup is improved: only the intermediate files that are necessary for re-running the pipeline steps are kept. One can use --debug switch to keep everything, as before.

Pre-release EviAnn v1.0.7

In this release we removed some unnecessary checks from the install script.
We also improved speed for EviProt protein-to-genome aligner. EviProt now saves any current progress in tblastn searches and avoids re-doing the successful tblastn jobs on restart of the pipeline after EviAnn or EviProt job gets killed or fails for any other reason.

Pre-release EviAnn v1.0.6

This release includes further code cleanup, and speed improvements. Functional annotation no longer runs by default. Aligned BAM files can now be used as input. Please install from EviAnn-1.0.6.tar.gz attached below.

EviAnn v1.0.5 alpha

This release improves quality and speed of the annotation process, eliminates several arbitrary parameters in the code for better compatibility with various data sets.

EviAnn v1.0.3 alpha

This version improves on speed by eliminating an expensive blastp alignment step, and further improves on the quality of CDS annotations.
