Mixed-age Ulva populations modeling

This is a Python code repository for the manuscript entitled: "Modeling the growth and sporulation dynamics of the macroalga Ulva in mixed-age populations in cultivation and the formation of green tides" by Obolski, Wichard, Israel, Golberg, and Liberzon, published in Biogeosciences, 19, 2263–2271, 2022, https://doi.org/10.5194/bg-19-2263-2022 or https://bg.copernicus.org/articles/19/2263/2022/

How to use it

  1. Install Anaconda or Miniconda

  2. use environment.yml file to install a new environment:

     conda env create -f environment. yml
    
  3. Run all the notebooks figureK.ipynb for K = 1..3b, you should get .p data files stored in the same folder

  4. Run all the notebooks figureK_create_plots.ipynb to get all the plots from the manuscript.
