It seems like there's something wrong with the code that you've edited, for meta, storage, and user that we have had already, we should use update instead of create, otherwise it won't restore the edits that you made to.

I don't think backup should be used to overwrite existing data, and duplicate data should be skipped and handled manually by the user.
