Learn step by step how to chart and track Google Trends in Data Studio using Python

We will use Python library pytrends to retrieve keywords that rising on Google.

Step 2: Connect your python script to Google Spreadsheet API

• Create a spreadsheet in your Google Drive. Keep the ID of the spreadsheet for later. You can find it in the browser when you open the spreadsheet :

• If you don't have a OAuth2.0 Client then create one on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Go to credentials
  • Click on Create new credentials button
  • Select Client ID
  • On the next page, select Desktop Application
  • Continue and then click on Create credentials
  • Downloads the JSON with the Client ID credentials and save it into the folder with main.py
