Eclipse WTP Web resources provides the WTP Web resources Validator :
You can customize it (disable/enable), use it as builder, etc like other WTP Validators.
You can customize the validation level for each Web Resources items :
By default extrenal URL (value which starts with http or //) are not validated :
To validate external URL, you must check the external URL :
After that, validation is available (TODO : manage proxy to connect to the URL)
