Original Theme
Flatabulous Theme

And some gnome(I think) windows does not get decorated.

I installed from the .deb file, the recommended way. Fresh install of Ubuntu.

Ditto, have this problem as well.

clicking adds no checkmark or anything, have to click it and close it and hope it worked.

Edit:, would like to point out this is especially annoying because im trying to edit things in the Nvidia control panel and i cant see the marks to know whats enabled or not.

Ubuntu version? Using 16.04 LTS, master branch, it looks for me in this way:

Are you using the deb package or you pulled the master repository?

So could you try to install it with git?

# in case of permission errors
sudo chown $USER:$USER -R /usr/share/themes/
sudo chmod 755 -R /usr/share/themes/

cd /usr/share/themes/
git clone https://github.com/anmoljagetia/Flatabulous

If I install it via git and I update it do I have to reinstall it when New version is available?

@Defman21 I'll try tonight to see if that fixes the issue and let you know. Thanks!
I had installed from the deb, sorry for the confusion

That worked! 😄 Thanks @Defman21

@meridani

I simply cloned the repo in the ~/.themes repo and it worked. I don't think you need to reinstall, I just think you need to pull the repo again to get the latest changes. I'm not sure if you need to reload it some how in tweak, but I can see the checkboxes now.

Also if you look in the updates section of the readme, it says that this issue has been fixed, I'm guessing the package is just outdated.

@Defman21 Thank you for taking charge in the recent days. I really appreciate all the work you've put in! Thanks a ton.

@Fisto69 Thanks for paging me. I will write to the NoobsLab people and try and get them to take the new build, however, I would like to fix a few more things before releasing the new version for 16.04. For now, I'll change the README and modify the installation instructions.

The PPA has been updated. Hopefully this issue can be resolved safely now?

Closing. As this is no longer an issue on Ubuntu 16.04
