I have zebra TTP2030 kiosk printer, it does not belong to the ordinary ZPL, EPL category of the printers. It's KPL printer (based on information from internet, might not be correct), and there is no KPL option in the list after choose the model Zebra from the web configuration page. I know all new MAC OS El Capitan come with CUPS 2.1 driver, but it just never let me print on this TTP2030. Since zebra does not provide support except window, no way for me to get help from Zebra. After spending a few hours in the genius bar of local APPLE store without success, the Apple engineer suggest that I would have better chance to ask whoever know the printer driver well. anyone had ever successfully print on this kind of kiosk printer? TTP20x0 include TTP2010, TTP2020, TTP2030?

Based on comments from other users, none of the drivers included with OS X will work with this printer, and it is pretty clear that the PPD you are trying to use is no good. Sorry, perhaps you can download a driver from Zebra directly, but we do no provide driver support here.

thanks for the comment, unfortunately Zebra don't provide driver for MAC OS. and it's difficult for us to change the hardware for the kiosk at this moment. As far as you know, anywhere I can get driver support for paid service?

Hello,

I looked arround in the internet, looked at old cups stuff and found:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/zebratechcups/files/Releases/

Changes to Zebra Technologies CUPS Driver - 03/09/2016

Fixes for the following Non-ZPL Kiosk Printers:

TTP20x0
TTP2130
TTP7030
TTP8200
KR203

maybe it is helpfull.

regards
Franz

Greetings,
A few years have elapsed, but I was wondering if you had any success with this printer. I have aquired a couple of these printers and am attempting to get them to print under Linux/Ubuntu.

I have been able to install the ppd for the interface, and compile the filter (with some modifications) on Ubuntu 19.10, but I am still unable to print including the test page).

I have had some success sending data directly to the printer with 'raw' , but this requires pressing the 'feed' button to flush the printers buffer.

Any hints, tips or stories?
Cheers,
Paul

Sorry, but how we use zebra Technologies Common Unix Printing System drivers for various printers.
I can not install this .c file and command make do not work

oot@raspberrypi:/home/pi/8200/zebra-ttp-2030/zebraCupsDrivers/filter# make
Makefile:404: Dependencies: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target 'Dependencies'. Stop.
