Macserialrb

Usage

List all the models

$ macserialrb -l
MacBook1,1
MacBook10,1
MacBook2,1
...

Generate SystemSerialNumber and MLB

$ macserialrb -m iMac19,1

iMac19,1 macserial info

productName: iMac19,1
SystemSerialNumber: C02CV0XNJV3Q
MLB: C02024101GULNV9FB
SystemUUID: 5DD65CCD-61DC-40C3-8667-00E75ED6E9A0
ROM: 28201A05BECA

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'macserialrb'

And then execute:

$ bundle install

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install macserialrb

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
