Sensor kit deployment

  • We recommend assembling the entire sensor kit in the workshop, including charging of the batteries. Once all the nodes are working in the workshop, the kit can be packed up in a box be transported to the site where the measurements are going to take place. Since the gateway is battery operated, it can be transported in operational condition.
  • Upon arrival on the site, place the gateway first and ensure that it is transmitting the data to the web server. (E.g. by setting one sensor node in debugging mode).
  • Then start placing the sensor nodes. We recommend noting the position of the sensors on a floor plan.
