arelleGUI fails to download update

I check for an update, the dialog reports that version 2022-07-29 is available, and prompts me to download. I select "yes," and the dialog closes. I expect to see a download happening in the background with messages printed in the log, but it appears to silently fail--no download occurs and no error message appears anywhere.

@codebykevin thank you for reporting.

It appears that there's a long standing issue with the updater using an undefined variable (actualUrl). The updater functions should also be changed to stop silently swallowing exceptions and log useful error messages.

In the meantime you can update to the newer release using the download links from the arelle.org website.
