@igorpecovnik "drv-media-cedrus" patches require serious processing. I doubt that they are needed.
I won't be able to check the patches for the h616 processor.
Some patches have been adapted, but they are still disabled.

@The-going you've asked me to help with h616 which I will try to, in 5.19.17 patches 206 216 I've had a look this evening and can see 206 problem, will check 216 now. That process will familiarize myself better with armbian. The efuse nvmem-bindings changes for reverted cpu-freq-scaling patch I have working 5.19.17 which addresses the different silicon variants etc and once tested on 6.0. can also be added at 1.5ghz. More simply I would like to suggest led status and power changes, and then move on to other functionalities for h616.

@AGM1968 Just make a pull request for kernel 5.19.
It's safe for all of us. The changes will only be in the folder for the sanxi kernel patches.
I will check and correct if there are inaccuracies.
I downloaded the full documentation for this processor.
But I have no way to make changes and then check. But I will see a discrepancy with the documentation.

@The-going I was able to build Nanopi Duo image with 6.x kernel and it booted. Built in wifi not working like 5.x build.

Is this the DUO 1 or 2? The one has that awful Rda radio.

Why are we working on 6.0 instead of waiting on 6.1 which is almost certainly an LTS? I'm just curious what motivates the time sink.

If its Duo 1, then its xradio ... which require insane a lot of rework and probably won't go over 5.19 ... duo2 has some broadcomm and should work if dts bits are there.

@Tonymac32 it's the duo 1. I know everyone hates the wifi on it, but it works sweet for me. Never had an issue with it.

I have tried to bring it up earlier this year, but its a mess. No help came ... https://forum.armbian.com/topic/13807-improved-xr819-driver/#comment-145891 IMO, move to some older kernel or forget about wifi on this hw.

I'm OK with 5.15 and Jammy for now. At least it's better than the auto build that doesn't boot :)

Now, auto boot should also probably be alright.
