Question/Feature Request: How to run a specific/particular scenario

As we know, in our yaml we have several scenarios inside the flow.

If I want to run just one of those scenarios, I am assuming I could do it by name.

So my question is:

Are there any parameters for the cmd command to indicate one scenario in particular to be run?

Are there any tags like - ignore that I could put in the YAML to file to ignore/skip certain scenarios?

Hi @eliezercazarestravelport! Currently there is no way to skip a single scenario within a test script.

What you can do instead is extract the configuration and split the scenarios in two different files, like so:

tests/
  ├─ config.yml
  └─ scenarios/
     ├─ scenario-1.yml
     └─ scenario-2.yml

Each test script can then run separately, as you can share configuration with both test scripts using the --config flag:

artillery run --config config.yml scenario-1.yml
artillery run --config config.yml scenario-2.yml

For everyone coming here, after Artillery v2.0.0-38, you can also use --scenario-name to choose and run a scenario by name, allowing you reuse the same scenario file that has (for example) weights in it, for different purposes.

This is happening due to special characters needing to be escaped (we use a regular expression under the hood, which perhaps we should reconsider). Try running it like this (escaping the special characters [ and ]):

artillery run --scenario-name "1. \[Users\]\[signIn\] - 100,000VUs" test1.yml
