Currently, the page break is ignored when converting to a manpage. Instead, it should be mapped to the .bp macro. See https://www.gnu.org/software/groff/manual/html_node/Page-Control.html#Page-Control

The man viewer does not honor the page break macro. However, you can test the result by using the man command to convert to postscript.

man -t ./sample.1 > sample.ps
