There is a widely used package called SCAMP by astromatic, to correct distortion in WCS.
As I couldn't find some efficient ways to correct wcs by comparing the image with catalog, I always used astrometry dot net. It's been very recent I learnt that there's a software SCAMP, I still cannot find any similar program that can easily be used in Python.
Is there any plan to implement this "wcs correction" to astropy or affiliated packages?

This is more of a question for SCAMP software developers. Whatever they do, as Astropy core or affiliated package, their software license needs to be BSD or a compatible variant.
We've talked about adding something like that in ccdproc; I think the main reason it hasn't happened is lack of times.
In addition, a pull request was opened a couple years ago on astroquery to build an astropy-friendly interface to astrometry.net: astropy/astroquery#521
