I'm not sure if this is the platform (ArchLinux) or the font (Source Code Pro) to blame, but this doesn't occur with the Atom Dark theme.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. right-click on file in Tree View and then click Rename
  2. click or use the arrow keys to re-position the cursor within the Rename modal dialog
  3. notice that there is no indication of where the cursor is positioned

I'm using Atom 0.177.0, which has one-dark-ui 0.2.0 built-in.

Okay, now I'm confused. After switching the built-in themes back and forth to determine which themes are affected, I can now see the cursor. /shrug

Ha! Got it!

This is only reproducible for me when I have:

  • UI Theme: One Dark
  • Syntax Theme: Solarized Light

If I change either of those to something different, then I can see the cursor.

@jokeyrhyme Thanks for noticing. Yeah, the cursor was hard to see if the syntax theme uses a cursor close to One dark's background color.

Should be fixed in the next release. Will be blue like the border (might still change that again).
