Paperclip Storage Appengine¶ ↑

appegine based storage for paperclip, works with github.com/atomgas/paperclip-storage-engine

• put the file paperclip_storage_appengine.rb into the lib dir of your rails app

• create file config/appengine.yml (see appengine.sample.yml)

• require “paperclip_storage_appengine.rb” in environment.rb

and use like this in you models

has_attached_file :image, 
  :storage => :appengine,  
  :appengine_config => "#{RAILS_ROOT}/config/appengine.yml",
...

Limitations¶ ↑

Filesize for each attachment is 1MB max due to AppEngine’s max BLOB size. For general AppEngine limitations see code.google.com/appengine/docs/quotas.html
