Thanks for clearly listing the differences with the original software. That's a lot of nice-looking changes. Have you tried submitting your patches to the original SnapDrop project? Or is there something wrong with the original project/development stopped?

It's not my project unfortunately, I'm just adding it as it's in more actively development than Snapdrop

Thanks. Looking at https://github.com/RobinLinus/snapdrop/commits/master it seems that the original project has not seen serious maintenance for some time (+ the number of untriaged/unanswered issues), and now concentrates on asking for funding (nothing wrong with that).

Given that the fork has better maintenance and more features, I will edit this PR to remove the original SnapDrop.
