🚀 Quick Start

Required -- Node Version: 14.16.1

Install Netlify CLI

yarn global add netlify-cli

Git clone

git clone https://github.com/babylon-finance/dapp.git

Install dependencies

yarn

Add new network to MetaMask called Mainnet Fork with RPC URL http://127.0.0.1:8545 and ChainId set to 31337.

(Optional since protocol now also performs this step during yarn chain) Copy contracts build directory

yarn copy-contracts-hardhat

Add a new account to MetaMask by the private key and call it Babylon Dev

0xac0974bec39a17e36ba4a6b4d238ff944bacb478cbed5efcae784d7bf4f2ff80

Add the credentials to .env.development.

Create and save GITHUB_TOKEN in your .env file. Then login using npm login command and your GITHUB_TOKEN

npm login --scope=@babylon-finance --registry=https://npm.pkg.github.com

🏃 Running the dApp locally

Run local chain, deploy contracts, and export ABI json to dapp project

yarn chain

Copy the contracts over

yarn run copy-contracts-hardhat

Prepare lambdas and start local web server

yarn run-local

🏃 Running the dApp on mainnet

On the protocol, checkout the stable branch and run:

yarn run export:mainnet

Copy the contracts over

yarn run copy-contracts-mainnet

Change your env.development chain id to 1.

REACT_APP_CHAIN_ID=1

Prepare lambdas and start local web server

yarn run-local

Go to localhost:8888

If you do not see the balance of ERC20 tokens that you expect in MetaMask you likely will need to add them manually by pasting the token address into "Add Token" in metamask extension.

When testing locally, you may need to increase time in the protocol. Head to the protocol and run:

yarn increaseTime -—days 30

To run the keepers (make sure you run yarn install in autotasks/keeper first):

yarn run-keeper
