@quicksketch I noticed that when you do release, you commit release number. Like here: backdrop/backdrop@22c5a6d And then revert it back: backdrop/backdrop@6d135e3
Do you upload release asset manually or project_github does so?
Maybe we should add code to project_github or implement release handler for backdrop/backdrop to automize this process.

Relate to #1995 I also propose to rip off tests from release package
This will make a release archive smaller. Developers can download from git when they want to run tests locally.
