This release of Backdrop fixes a number of small bugs and issues in Backdrop 1.1.3. This is the final release of Backdrop 1.1.x, with the simultanious release of Backdrop 1.2.0 coming out today. If you are using Backdrop 1.1.x and would like to fix small issues before making the change to Backdrop 1.2.0, you may use this version.

Notable bug fixes:

  • Fixes to HTML validation and unclosed tags in the default layout template.
  • Added support for nested modal dialogs.
  • Fixes to bulk operations, allowing changes to more than 35 pieces of content at a time.
  • Added missing messages after saving configuration forms.
  • Wrong layout used when a user visits an admin path but does not have access to the admin theme.
