Font size changes and side bar remove, posts as galery

Hi,
Thanks for very nice template. I'm new with WP, if time allows to post few offers, it would be perfect.
Some personal changes needed:

• "Home" was renamed to "news" and its title page. I would like to make smaller font size of posts titles. Do I need to find specific place in "style .php"?
• when specific post is opened, all, other post can be seen on right (or left) sidebar as a "recent articles". Is there any possibility to disable this function?
• when I first time tested WP in other page (with other template), there is a possibility to choose a type of the post format (standart, gallery) for each post. Tarski has no such option and only in WP options i can choose default. I took "gallery", but I can see all post's text in the main page, not like I expected to see one or two sentences and "read more".

Or my questions refers to read "WP for dummies"? :}
