after flashing 2 quads to 4.0 build 1360 i had no osd chip.. the upshot was black screen even though the vtx was blasting away, this was on both quads so a blown osd chip was unlikely
i tried a few versions back till i didn't get the issues and the only one that works for me is 1354 and earlier

@butterSnake & @kmitchel have tracked this down to video_type=PAL setting in diff, although @butterSnake has PAL cameras.

w/ video type AUTO, osd works (?)

I have advised how to get logs while in auto mode:

Log taken with MAX7456_SIGNAL debug. Shows up in BBE 3.2.0 as MAX7456_SPICLOCK for some reason.

Values are:

debug[0] = 0
debug[1] = 4
debug[2] = 0
debug[3] = 13

For the entire log.
