When you're downloading or copying the soda theme by git clone in a local environment, in branches master and extended you get some meta-data files from VSCode Editor:

davidjguru_drupal_metadata_files_from_IDE

Would be better if files from Editors or IDEs not being included in the repo, using some more lines in the .gitignore main file.
