Why does the dSLR camera have a requirement for being new within 1 year of the start of testing? This is a similar case for other “Type 2 equipment” with the same or similar requirements. This will be an expensive upkeep cost at least once a year. This also creates moving target for vendor’s face detection algorithms. Proposing that cameras and other equipment that meet the functionality and resolution requirements are valid to use for the life of MDFPP33.
