A simple QT5 project based on the example TrayIcon, and monitor information of the HTML from web you cared about. Warn you if neccessary.
You can config the fetching interval, url to get html text, regex to get information you want (only care about Number right now) and so on.
you can get notice from the system tray icon, and the number you may care about.
app's badge icon also give you a look.
there's also a pop bubble to warn you if something want s to draw your attention, for example, bug arrives.
