With @xcorp and another report with #8311, I'm reopening this. @bvwidt, @xcorp and @mstatectc please try upgrading to https://github.com/bitwarden/clients/releases/tag/desktop-v2024.3.0 and see if the issue persists. |
Thank you @djsmith85. The issue persists on version 2024.3.0. Specifically: |
WORKAROUNDI am experiencing the same issue. By clicking on another item, click +, click cancel. Then, click back on the item you want to add, click the + and the collections should show now. It might take a few times of doing that before it works. Temporary workaround of course. |
Same issue here as well on Windows desktop.
Current workaround I'm using is to switch ownership to myself and then back to my organization, this is within the new item interface to be clear. |
Same issue here. I confirm @lecklin's workaround. |
Same here on MacOS. |
Windows 11 Desktop APP |
Same issue here, the workaround between private/org populates the collection list.

Lol, WTF. Did you even read all those people commenting reproduction steps? |
Hi @pkExec My apologies, as this issue was closed in error. You may disregard the previous message and this issue has been reopened. |
Just commenting to confirm and also bump this a little bit more. I'm also experiencing this issue in the desktop app... Version 2024.3.0 No issues with the web frontent, just the app. I prefer using the app as the menu's and scrolling is better than the web, so this bug is a bit of an annoying issue. Any updates on when a fix is likely to be release? Thanks |
I am experiencing the same issue since upgrading the Desktop App |

Same issue here too running on M3 MacBook Pro with latest OS. A couple of my other employees also experienced the same problem and they run Windows. Version 2024.4.1 If I change the ownership and then change it back, the list of collections appears. It's an easy workaround, but annoying. |
