It'd be great if we could disable standby for PKGj on PSTV, as that would allow me to queue up a bunch of things to download, and just leave it overnight. I've tried this a few ways, unsuccessfully.

I'd love this feature too, but I couldn't find how to do it. If you know of which API can do that, or if you know of an open source app that can keep the device awake, please let me know.

I decided to investigate this a bit, and found that vita shell disables autosuspend. Here's the commit that added that feature: TheOfficialFloW/VitaShell@68c2b07

I was going to try and build a PR around this, but I have found that actually you are already doing the same thing in your code (start a 10 second thread to keep disabling auto-suspend). I think what's really going on here is that turning off my TV is the same to the PSTV as hitting the power button on the Vita, so that doesn't count as an "autosuspend", it's just a normal suspend instead.

Oh I see, I didn't even know that thread was there in pkgj :P It comes from pkgi.

The thing is, even on my PS Vita, if I wait 3 minutes, it goes to sleep, so this code doesn't seem to work. Same when I use vitashell as an FTP server, if I wait too long, the vita goes to sleep. So I concluded that there's no way to prevent that...

Is my Ps Vita TV special? Reason being is that I've been able to leave it to download stuff overnight and over an afternoon of being out without it suspending? My TV isn't even on and when I return home, a lot of stuff has been installed.
