This happens rarely and randomly, and seems to be mostly persistent between boots

currently checking: raspberrypi/linux@1c082fa This is already in the tree ]flashing a recovery image didn't seem to fix the issue
The affected PI is a 1.1 revision, where the vl805 eeprom is separated from the main eeprom
Updateing to 5.10 kernel fixes the issue (but we get a lot of slipping in the ardupilot loops, mostly likely due to raspberrypi/linux#3381)
