For holdout materials there are probably different ways to go about it. A simple idea would be to just expose a custom AOV from the main pass to the render graph. Not sure what a good approach for multiple render layers would be or even what those would be. I am guessing they should work similarly to how you can composite multiple render layers in blenders builtin compositor. That's probably a question that @pragma37 would be way more qualified to answer. |

Isn't this just set the alpha of mainpass color less than 1 and click on the Transparency? |

I already thought about using holdout materials, multiple view layers, and compositing magic but I'm not particularly versed in any of those so I've been waiting for an easier way to do it
like using malt magic or whatnot (if there's any)
Is there already a pipeline in malt to do this?
