Some changes need to be made to the frame, in order to incorporate the SW moving geometry.

  • Remove the top front screw of each of the side bottom extrusions, in order to have more clearance for the mounting screws of the X/Z motor mounts:


  • Move the Y central extrusion 2cm to the front, until the rear holes align with the front ones. You can either fasten just the two remaining screws or even better you can fasten the two remaining front screws normally at the frame holes and use two extra screws with hammernuts for the rear ones:


  • A pair of extrusion extensions where vital, in order to achieve good aesthetics and easier ability to fit the enclosure. Assemble as suggested here:


  • The bottom X-Axis extrusion has a small cutout section (serves as small cable routing channel) which is sharp and can rip cable insulation, therefore a small cover is included (different size for Ender 3 Pro - Ender 3 V2). The fit is very tight so squeeze the sides to snap it in :)
