• I am Ümit Can Evleksiz, a highly enthusiastic, almost perfectionist engineer and designer.

Professional

• I have been providing digital design services to agencies and products for 6 years, mastering icons, illustrations, and the user interfaces in the process, which will eventually make me a design engineer.
• I have been working as a web developer for more than 2 years. I have been involved in a variety of aspects of the web, from design systems to landing pages, from email development to end-to-end product development. I am comfortable using Typescript, React, Next, Remix, Astro, etc. Keen on trying different libraries and frameworks; examples include Bun, Elysia, SolidJS, etc. I like discovering different kinds and levels of abstractions.
• I have familiarity with JS/TS, Python, Java, and C.

Hobbies

• I am keen on the car industry and you will probably find me on a motorway listening to some quality music whenever I am not coding or designing. I found it fascinating to glaze at an Audi A8L or an 8-lane empty highway.
• I am very much into clean and well structured interfaces with intricate details, whether it is on computer screen or not.
• I love abstraction and formalism.
