Description

In the Vivaldi browser you are able to hide your address bar with a setting (though it is still available as a drop down when pressing ctrl+L. (Similar issue: Hide the tab bar)

I would love for this to be possible in brave as well!

Steps to Reproduce

Go to Settings -> Appearance

Actual result:

No setting for hiding the address bar.
Even when in fullscreen mode and pressing ctrl-L nothing happens

Expected result:

Setting for hiding address bar available

It would be fantastic. The screen layout would look much better when you have windows "floating" when several tabs need to be visible.

The lack of settings to hide address bar and tabs is one of the major things preventing me to completely switch from Vivaldi to Brave as well

Same here. I use Brave for everything and I have to change to Vivaldi when I need to 4 or 6 windows tiled together.

Either a flag to change this behavior or a setting option would be great!

+1 yes! please add a setting for this.

it would be nice to have something like firefox's userchrome.css to customize things like this but I know that will never happen

Adding my own stone to the edifice. Having this feature as a shortcut would be a huge boon for some use cases.

+1 and here's why: some of us prefer heavily multi-windowed setups. See example screenshot:
