Web notification not shown for messenger.com

• Steps to reproduce:

  1. On a clean profile login to messenger.com
  2. Wait till a message comes, select remember decision and click allow for show notification
  3. On receiving next message there is no notification shown

• Actual result:
  Web notification not shown for messenger.com

• Expected result:
  Should show web notifications when a new message is received

• Will the steps above reproduce in a fresh profile? If not what other info can be added?

Show desktop notification under settings needs to be enabled for the web notifications to show up. This is turned off by default.
