Experience summary

  • Familiar with the GNU+Linux operating system, including but not limited to daily usage, system administration, software development, and command-line interface operations
  • Familiar with the Git source control management, including but not limited to the following operations:
    • git add --patch
    • git rebase --interactive _base_
    • git bisect [start|bad|good|...]
  • Familiar with F.O.S.S. projects' development process and debugging procedures, including but not limited to triaging, stack trace generation, and bisection
  • Familiar with documentation in manpage and Texinfo formats
  • Familiar with snap packaging, snaps are universal Linux packages
  • Has experience of continuous integration(CI) for automated code verification and deployment
  • Has experience with GNU Autotools and CMake software build systems, including but not limited to customizing build configuration
  • Has experience in using container technologies with LXD(major) and Docker(minor) in software development and testing
  • Has an intermediate level of understanding of the scripting language of the GNU Bourne Again SHell(Bash)
  • Has an intermediate level of understanding of the C programming language
  • Has a basic level of understanding of object-oriented programming paradigm
  • Has experience in software localization(L10N) and GNU Gettext-based software internationalization(I18N)

  • Embedded system development
  • Linux kernel development(including but not limited to, driver development)

and any technologies that are based on free(as in freedom) software.
