I use rebuild-dndc to rebuild all containers with nordvpn network. But rebuild containers uses ping on nordvpn container to test connection. I would bet it worked till 3.7.4 but seems there is no recent change for that.

long story short could you may add iputils-ping to the image to give the ability to ping from the container?
