This is the GitHub repository for https://buildcomics.com/uncategorized/g-rinder-and-the-textmeter/. It contains arduino code for the arduino nano in the folder named "arduino".
The used plates and GIMP files are in Plates/
Please note that the LTC4946m is pretty rare, but I have a bunch of them lying around. There are however many other 8 segment displays that will work perfectly with an Arduino for this purpose, but they do need different wiring.
The wiring is fairly flexible, use the PIN definitions in the arduino code to change it to your needs. Here is the same info as the arduino file:
Connect DS3231 SCL to A5 on Arduino Nano
Connect DS3231 SDA to A4 on Arduino Nano
Connect Button 1 to A1 on Arduino Nano
