A URL shortener written in GO

usage

After installation of needed packages (see below) you access a list of submitted urls (posts) via

http://localhost:8080

To add a new url simply call this url (for now, will be rerefactored to a form)

http://localhost:8080/newpost?url=http://www.example.org&comment=test

Needed package for data storage

go get github.com/mattn/go-sqlite3

Frontend Assets Pipeline with Train and Pongo

Preparation

Get the Packages:

go get github.com/shaoshing/train
go get -u gopkg.in/flosch/pongo2.v3

Build train binary:

go build -o $GOPATH/bin/train github.com/shaoshing/train/cmd

Setup Ruby, install sass and coffee gems:

sudo gem install sass
sudo gem install coffee-script

Setup latest JRE (for YUI compressor).

Building in Dev

Will happen automatically. Relax...

Building in Production

Run train to automatically bundle and fingerprint assets.
