New cell lines from DepMap 23q2 release #8
Comments
Hi Mike
Here is the situation regarding these 5 DepMap cell line entries:
1) Myla
There are 11 different Myla cell lines, so here there is not enough
information to know which one it is.
2)|U251MGDM HSRRB
Currently I have not obtained from DepMap any information on how this
cell line is derived from U251MG. So until this is obtained there is no
way I can create that entry.
|3) This was prepared for the next release and will be CVCL_C8YB
4) and 5)
A few weeks ago I received from|Alejandro Sweet-Cordero, the
correspondance between is published "OS" series of cell lines and the
old "PSS" designations.
So:
PSS008=OS052 and is CVCL_C8FR
PSS131R=OS384 and is CVCL_C8FU

@AmosBairoch Fantastic, thanks for the update. I'll see if I can provide more useful information on Myla and U251MGDM. |
@AmosBairoch Will do some additional digging regarding MYLA but I think this is safe to close for now |

Hi Cellosaurus team,
I noticed that there are 5 cell lines now available at DepMap that are not currently annotated in Cellosaurus. Can we work on adding them?
Best,
Mike
