This is a git extension which compresses files into one file and also restores them from it. It is useful when you need to work with files which is unfamiliar to git, such as binary files or security ones.
Some people think this project violate the concept of open sources. However, people who want to share their codes but not images or musics due to these copyrights will do with git-cf so that will contribute the concept to the contrary.
