I really like the carbon design system, partly from experience having used it a while ago for a project.
Since I'm designing and building a new app right now, I decided to pull this repo (which appears perhaps stale?) and get it working with Angular v15 and latest TS/node etc.
This contains the ingredients which made it work for me, as you can see here:
