walkers will detect cars and stop, but in the end they will touch the car and die

Another problem related to this is the way the pedestrian detects vehicles in the world. The perception angle is too wide sometimes so they could be walking inside the road and detects a car, thus making the walker to stop and wait 10 seconds until the next decision makes the vehicle to wait for the walker. Maybe we should reduce the angle

Related to this, pedestrians tend to stand by cars and then die dramatically.

@germanros1987 Yes, that's what I was explaining in the issue #381 ,a game design decision is involved at this moment

No longer relevant, pedestrians are now controlled from client-side.

When using CARLA with Python 3.10, I'm getting a segfault in
GetAvailableMaps. The problem disappears when PyList manipulation does
not happen with GIL unlocked, as done in this commit.

When I run generate_traffic.py under Python 3.10, I get a segfault at
line:

It turns out that its caused by releasing GIL for too long. We fix it
by releasing the GIL only for the actual libcarla call and
constructing Python objects with GIL locked.
