Develop materials to use/adapt when advocating for The Carpentries

Goal 6 is to Advocate for our values and vision to empower more people to work with data and software. One of the objectives under goal 6 is:

• Develop slide decks and other supporting materials for the Core Team, Executive Council, and Community members to use/adapt when advocating for our values and vision

This work will be led by The Carpentries Communications Manager.

The current plan for this is as follows:

• Meet with Core Team members to get a sense of the need and use cases for these slide decks and templates and to engage them in dialogue about how many pieces we will need to create
• Create tasks/subtasks in the comms implementation asana project.
• Create drafts by Early June
• Editing and refining process
• Begin use in July

From CDT meeting discussion, we are currently working on the website work to be finished before completing these tasks

This effort does not align with our 2022 Operational Priorities, so it is being moved to our strategic plan roadmap for next year. I will close this issue now and we can reopen it next year.

Myself and @OscarSiba continue to work towards this. We will be utilising the Commons repository to share these materials as they become available

The first iteration of the one pagers is now complete, but the slide deck is still in development. Will update and hopefully close this PR by mid-August @kariljordan.
