I'd like to get this effect implemented on left and right edges. Like the text area at the bottom of this page, except that the shadow needs to appear to be ON TOP of tables, images, etc in the scroller.
It's sometimes impossible to know that there's more to scroll in our tables and filmstrips and waterfalls.
