microservices have a lot of duplicate basic codes, you have to copy-paste them for every service. mesher can generate that codes for you.
- generate project scaffold, kubernetes resources, and dockerfile
- generate testing, handler, and client code form protobuf definition file
just run this ,then your new microservice is ready for business logic
go install github.com/catusax/mesh-gen/cmd/mesh-gen@latest
mesh-gen new my-service
cd my-service
# edit proto/my-service.proto
make init proto tidy
mesher reads config form Makefile
,you can edit variables in Makefile
, then regenerate k8s resource.
mesh-gen generate
make proto
generate testing , handler , and client code from proto file
