Glad to see that it was useful to you !
Sure, I will have a look if I can help you with the java version.
Cheers.

… Hi,
First of all - a huge THANKS for creating this. I've been using the
Windows binary to convert all sorts VGMs to YMs.
To be able to experiment somewhat with the code, I'd really like to be
able to run it with the Java runtime but, as I'm a real novice, seem to be
unable to do so.
Would you be able to at least change run.bat so it does?
TIA

Great :) When I use the batch-file run.bat, I'm getting this error: |
Or/also, could you tell me how to compile it on Windows? |
Hi,
Sorry for my late answer. (During the lockdown I have to share the computer
at home with my kids 😅)
I just committed some files in the "refresh" branch in git to be able to
compile the code with openjdk 1.8 (so please checkout this branch)
In order to compile the code you need to have:
- maven installed
- The Path environment variable updated to include the "maven install
path\bin"
Then you could compile it by running : "mvn install"
Once compiled you might be able to start it by running the bat file.
Good luck!

Hi :) I've got it to run! 😀 This means that it's now possible to convert SN76489 VGMs to YM and convert to MYM with the new version of YM2MYM (available in the Oric SDK) with the correct target frequency right away - without clamping :) And exactly the reasons for creating the other feature requests that I did 👍 |
