Feedback form for Industrial Training Portal

Installation

To use your local mongodb server, set MONGODB_URI environment variable.

Database configuration

This app needs a mongodb server configured, to function properly.

To install a local mongodb server instance.

  1. Install MongoDB
  2. Run MongoDB with mongod
  3. Set MONGODB_URI environment variable,
set MONGODB_URI=mongodb://127.0.0.1 # local mongodb server
Optional

You can connect to the online database by setting the appropriate environment variables as follows.

set MONGODB_URI=mongodb://heroku_mf5mtwtk:dj45qp59p8436qm44v9dgd67ve@ds137230.mlab.com:37230/heroku_mf5mtwtk

Run the application

To run the NodeJS express application.

  1. Install the dependencies
npm install
  1. Start the server
npm start
