Compact icons not clickable on GMapsv2

On GMapsV2 when using compact icon mode the cache icons are not clickable.
On OSM however it works.

Not yet verified.

I can somehow reproduce this on master as well.
At the beginning the caches are clickable, but after having opened the popup for some of them and/or moving the map some of the icons are no longer clickable.

OSM however is ok all the time.

Does happen in current release 2020-04-25 as well (after some rapid movements of the map), although not for all markers.
