New Metric? User Experience

In the session on 9/27, one metric that attracted a lot of interest was

Contributor Experience. This included things like:

Issue Resolution Bot - A bot that queries those on the issue/pr that asks how satisfied they were with the resolution of the the issue.

Survey the community on experience

Focus groups with the community

Good metric. Looking through our activity-metrics-list.md, I did not see any metric like contributor experience, issue resolution bot, survey/focus group with community on experience.

I do believe that these are two different things. In the case I'm talking about, experience is about the experience that the developer has when participating with the community (good or bad). Is this the same for satisfaction?

I think we have two different things, as you mentin, @germonprez. I'm not good at naming, but experience or maybe "age in the project" and satisfaction could be two names for them...

I've sort of lost my thoughts on this one :) Would this be an addition to one of the existing metrics? Perhaps GMD? That would seem to be the most sensible.

We are moving people-related activity metrics to the Diversity and Participation metric and should bring this up once we have a pull request on D&P to see if we want to include it.
